Terms and Conditions

Please take a few moments to read and understand the terms and conditions that govern the use of the Happy cacaco chocolates transactional site. Use of the web store constitutes your commitment to respect these terms and conditions that apply to all sales concluded through the happycacao.ca website.

 

1. ORDERS AND ACCESS TO THE SITE

You can access the online store by going to https://happycacao.ca

 

You accept our following terms and conditions by connecting to the site and/or placing an order on happycacao.ca.

 

2. AVAILABILITY AND PRODUCTS

Happy Cacao reserves the right, without notice or obligation, to discontinue or modify the selection of products offered on this site.

 

If the desired product is not available on the website, it may be that we are simply out of stock or that we have decided to no longer manufacture it. Contact us to find out more, we will be happy to process your request and try to satisfy you.

3. NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE

Once the transaction is complete, it is not possible to cancel your order.

No refund will be made.

However, it is possible to modify your order by adding items or exchanging certain items, as long as the amount is the same and the item is available. For any changes to your order, contact us at info@happycacao.ca and we will process your request on a case-by-case basis.

4. PRICES, PROMO CODE AND PRESALE

The retail prices displayed are in Canadian dollars, including taxes without shipping costs.

 

Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination. For any purchase over $100 in Canada, shipping (Standard Shipping) is free.

If the total amount of your order does not reach $100, you are not eligible for free shipping. There is no need to contact us to request to benefit from it.

 

The total amount is payable in a single payment during the transaction.

 

Happy cacao reserves the right to modify the retail and delivery prices at any time and without notice. The prices on the site may differ from the prices displayed in the store.

 

5. SHIPPING AND RECEIPT

As a responsible company, we are committed to reducing and not just "limiting" CO2 emissions related to our supplies but also those related to the transport of all your orders. We have therefore decided to ship only once a week, on Wednesdays. However, we reserve the right to modify for logistical reasons and depending on the number of orders on the day the orders are sent. For pre-sales, refer to the shipping dates mentioned in the announcement newsletter.

All orders placed before Monday 11:59 p.m. will be processed and picked up by the various carriers on Wednesday. All orders placed after this time will be postponed until the following week.

This concerns all deliveries. On-site pick-ups remain unchanged.

Once the order is completed and paid for on our online store, it will be processed by our team. Once the package is received by the carrier, the delivery time is 2 to 5 business days.

 

Packages are sent via different delivery partners. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number. We invite you to click on it to be redirected to the service provider's website to track your package.

Free shipping from $100 is offered for all of Canada.

We give you the possibility to choose your shipping method and your carrier. However, we reserve the right to modify it for logistical reasons, depending on the number of orders and the availability of carriers.

In case of absence for reception: If there is no one at the destination address to accept the package, depending on the service provider, a delivery notice will be left, informing you of the procedure to follow to collect the package from the post office. The package is kept for 15 days before being returned to us.

 

In the case of a return of a package that has not been picked up or that has not been dropped off to you due to lack of security or because no one was present at home, the shipping costs for a second attempt will be at your expense.

 

6. PAYMENT

Orders placed on the Happy cacao website must be paid by credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Amex credit cards directly on the Happy cacao website.

 

Once the transaction is completed, it is not possible to cancel your order.

 

We do not issue any refunds. For any problem with your order, write to us at info@happycacao.ca

 

7. DELIVERY PROBLEMS

Sometimes an order is cancelled by our system for various reasons, such as the unavailability of an item, difficulty processing your payment information, inability to deliver to the address provided or duplication of a previous order. In this case, you will be notified as soon as possible of the reasons for the cancellation of the order.

8. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions of our transactional site at any time, without notice. To this end, we advise you to consult these provisions each time you make a purchase
